"The way he explained things, the tips he gave me, and the time he spent with me was beyond helpful. If you don't understand something, he will take time to explain it and he never makes you feel like you're not capable. Also, very easy for high school kids to relate because he's not a grouchy old man tutor. Makes it easy to ask questions and advice about college and the SAT."

Test-Prep Programs
The purpose of these standardized tests isn't always to gauge what students know, but to sort them on a standard bell curve. It is critical, then, to understand each test's tricks and content, and to know how to attack them with effective strategies.
Individual tutoring for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, or any combination of tests, meeting for 20 hours total.
Best for: Students who want the most personalized instruction and a flexible schedule.
Private instruction can also be purchased hourly at the equivalent rate if the student does not need the full 20 hours.
Tutoring for any test for groups of two to five students, meeting for 20 hours total.
Best for: Groups of students on similar academic levels who know one another and seek nearly one-on-one attention at a lower price than private instruction.
Small-group instruction can also be purchased hourly at the equivalent rate if the students do not need the full 20 hours.
Tutoring for the SAT and/or ACT for groups of 10 to 20 students in a classroom setting, meeting for two hours a week over 10 weeks.
Best for: Students who have never done test prep before, or those who need a review, and seek weekly feedback and progress monitoring in a classroom setting.
Intensive tutoring in one SAT or ACT subject—Reading, Math, English, or Science—for groups of up to 20 students, for five hours on a Saturday close to the test date.
Best for: Students who need an intensive, one-day session to prepare for and review a single subject.
Tutoring for the SAT and/or ACT for groups of 10 to 20 students in a classroom setting, meeting for three hours a day for one week, culminating in a full, scored mock test on Saturday.
Best for: Students who don't have sufficient time to prep during the school year and can commit to a weeklong summer course in a classroom setting.
College Consulting Programs
Standardized tests are only one part of the college application process. Writing, editing, and revising the application essay is just as important.
Guidance planning, writing, revising, and editing unlimited college application essays, from blank screen to submission.
Best for: Students who plan to apply to several schools with different application essay requirements and need help navigating the process.
Guidance planning, writing, revising, and editing one college application essay, from outline to final draft.
Best for: Students who need to write only one main essay and seek assistance with the process.
Polishing of an essay close to its final form that needs just one more set of eyes before submission.
Best for: Students with a near-final draft of an application essay who want final touches and peace of mind before clicking submit.
An intensive one-week session to help students navigate the college application process from start to finish, with daily essay reads and edits, information and advice on completing the myriad sections of college applications, and guidance on recommendation letters, interviews, and more, meeting for three hours a day for one week during the summer.
Best for: Students who want to complete (or come close to completing) college applications before they begin their senior year and can commit to working on them daily.
